Okay, updates. We have dumped my old doctors. I has been nealy four months and I am still being diagosed with chronic pain. Frankly, unless I do somethng really stupid, I don't notice it a lot these days. My new doctors, though, did point out that they hardly needed to touch my back for it to be overly painful.
To give you an idea of what's happened to my back, I offer this analogy. Take any sort of cream filled biscuit and squeeze one side. See how all the cream pushes out the other side? Well, that's basically what my back did. Two of my vertebrae pressed together and the disc btween them pushed out the other side into the nerves of my back. Watwe are workin on, now, is to push the damn thing back in again.
I have stopped the hydro-therapy becase it was making me loose feeling in my legs. No more sharing the pool with the local creepy football club guys, thank the lord.
I have started clinical therapy at an ungodly hour on a Saturday (seriously, I didn't know there was a Saturday morning.) My whole left side is pretty useless and my right side isn't much better.
Buuut - after only one session and a lot of different exercises I have been given to do at home, I have gained back a little flexibility and I can now stand and walk for a few hours wihout feeling like my back is compressing in on itself. It's a beautiful, beautiful thing. We're hoping, after 6 weeks, I might be well enough to go back to my bellydancing or, at least, archery. And I'm considering adding some ballroom dancing to my repoitre too. Hopefully - if I'm up to it and, of course, don't die of embarrassment - I might be able to post a short solo sometime in the future. Song requests are welcome XD The stupider the better lol.

So, as a whole, feeling better. Now, if I could just land a job I'd be dancing in the straight, back be damned!

Much  and  from

Pie

Finally, the recognition they deserve:

Tom Cruise and Amy Winehouse have been voted the World's Biggest Tools!

here's the article: [link]

Paris Hilton came a close second to Winehouse =P

(thought that would make you smile) :D

now is not the end. it is not even the beginning of the end. but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

>> Writing is not art's plainer sister = [link] <<
