Her body was hand-painted (mix of brush and make-up sponge) with Folkart acrylics in Lavender, Calypso Sky and Dark Purple and her eyes were painted with Semco acrylics in Metallic Green and Metallic Bronze with a small navy blue flat-back gem in each.
Hyacinth’s wings were sculpted from Sculpey White and painted with Dark Purple, Metallic Bronze and Calypso Sky. Three flat-back gems in clear, turquoise and navy were added to each wing to make them stand out a little
Her forehead was done with an iridescent micro-glitter.
Hyacinth was re-haired with Dollyhair in: Fairy’s Breath, Hyacinth, Mermaid, Atomic Turquoise and Sour Grapes. I added three extra rows of plugs to each side of her forehead and then thatched the hair to create her bangs. Her mane is pinned up with pearl-topped pins, and teal and silver ribbon. Her mane is tied with green jewellery wire. Her tail has been rope braided and tied with green jewellery wire, and teal and silver ribbon.
Lady Hyacinth was sealed with Modpodge Matte and Folkart Satin Finish to give her a nice shine.
